Residents are invited to join Commerce City Council Members at a telephone town hall meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2015, to discuss ongoing construction projects and development activities happening within the community.
If you live within the city, you may receive a random telephone call through an automated system June 3 and be invited to listen in on this important public telephone forum. If you are not called but would still like to participate, call toll free at 877-229-8493 and enter 111980 when prompted. During the hour-long call, residents can ask council members questions, listen to the conversation and participate in an electronic poll.
This is the first of two telephone town hall council meetings planned for 2015 and the second time the city has used this technology, which allows residents to participate from the comfort of their home. If residents are not called, they can still join the conversation starting at 7 p.m. June 3, 2015, by calling 877-229-8493 and entering ID No. 111980. The entire call also will be posted online a week after its conclusion for those who missed the discussion and simply want to listen.
City Council members also will be in attendance at the upcoming neighborhood outreach picnics, June 11 and August 13, which provides another opportunity to interact face-to-face.
