Call Toll Free To Ask Questions, Provide Input From Home
City Council is hosting its second telephone town hall meeting at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 13. Join neighbors and council members to learn more about what’s happening in the city and ask questions of your city council members.
There are two ways to engage. First, residents may receive a random telephone call Oct. 13 through an automated system and be invited to listen in on the telephone forum. Second, residents can call toll free at 877-229-8493 and enter 111980 when prompted. During the hour-long call, residents can ask council members questions, listen to the conversation and participate in an electronic poll.
In June, 654 residents participated in city council’s first telephone town hall, with 247 callers on the line during the call’s peak. As a result of input received during the meeting, the city sought feedback about the new recreation center through an online survey and will share those outcomes during the October telephone town hall as requested.
The entire call also will be posted online a week after its conclusion for those who missed the discussion and simply want to listen.
