An adjunct technology professor, Bingham previously held IT positions at ACG Networks, the Laramie County School District, Albany County School District, and University of Wyoming.
Bingham earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wyoming and his Masters from Chadron State College. He is currently finishing his PhD in instructional technology from the University of Nebraska.
“I am excited and honored to join Commerce City as the director of information technology,” said Bingham. “With a growing and diverse community, information technology will be a critical component to support the city’s decision-making process as well as sharing information with the community.”
Bingham will oversee a department that plans, develops, supports and maintains citywide information services and technologies with 13 employees and annual budget of approximately $2.746 million.
In his free time, Bingham enjoys spending time with his family exploring the state and attending sporting events.
