Due to inclement weather, the City of Commerce City is on a two-hour delay, with administrative offices opening at 10 a.m. this morning.

The city’s snow removal plan classifies snow storms into three categories and places priority on clearing major roads, such as Highway 2, Quebec Parkway and Tower Road first, and then on collector streets that connect hospitals, fire stations, police stations, and schools. The City’s Public Works Department has been implementing 12-hour shifts since Sunday and will continue until on that schedule will 11 pieces of snow removal equipment until the event is over and roadways are clear.
