Commerce City is about to start receiving federal funds for various programs that benefit low and moderate-income residents and neighborhoods. In order to determine what type of projects should be funded, we need your feedback!
Follow the link at the bottom of this story to take a short survey. We want to hear your opinions about housing, transit, public services/facilities, economic development, and much more. This information will help us determine how best to serve low and moderate-income members of our community over the next five years.
The survey will be available until June 10. If you live or work in Commerce City, we want to hear from you!
Funding for these projects is allocated by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. Applicable community needs may include things like improvements to public facilities (such as parks, community centers, and libraries), sidewalk or sewer infrastructure, job training, assistance to small businesses, youth and senior programs, assistance with transportation, or home improvements, just to name a few.
