Street closures due to weather

The spring storm has caused a few street closures in the city, with the potential for more rain to bring additional closures and street flooding in the area.
  • Havana Street is closed between E. 102nd Ave. and Heinz Way due to weather related issues
  • Fairfax Park: E. 69th Avenue is closed from Forest St. to Elm Dr. and Fairfax Dr. is closed between E. 60th Ave. and Forest St. as excess water is pumped out of Fairfax Park. Both streets will remain closed until pumping operations are complete.

Tower Road has reopened after flooding caused temporary closures Thursday morning. These and other areas in the city are subject to street flooding if heavy precipitation continues.

Drivers are encouraged to be cautious and remember to never drive on a flooded roadway. TURN AROUND, DON’T DROWN®
