Looking for a fun and safe way for your child to spend their summer? Commerce City summer camps are the place! Children and teens enjoy a variety of activities including arts and crafts, games, team-building activities, swimming, field trips and more. We maintain low child-to-staff ratios while providing a safe and friendly environment.

Summer camp runs from June 6-Aug. 5, 7 a.m.-6 p.m.

  • Youth Camp: Ages 6-10 
    • Commerce City Recreation Center
  • Adventure Trek: Ages 11-15
    Same program offered at two locations:
    • Commerce City Recreation Center
    • Second Creek Elementary School, Modular Classroom

Register for the entire summer session or individual weeks. Space is limited, so enroll early!

Important Dates
 5 a.m. Wed, Feb. 22 Enrollment period begins; packets available for download.
Parents must complete the enrollment process prior to registering for camp.
 6 p.m. Wed, March 1 Need help filling out your packet? Or just have some questions?  We will be available to assist you. This is not a formal meeting. Staff recommends printing and bringing enrollment packet to meeting — otherwise available for $10
 6 p.m.  Tues, May 9 Mandatory meeting for all parents/guardians and campers.
 6 p.m. Tues, May 9 Enrollment deadline (no packets accepted after this time). 

Camp Costs
Full day licensed Youth Camp (ages 6-10): Monday-Friday
  • $120 resident/$145 non-resident per week    

Full day licensed Adventure Trek Camp
(ages 11-15): Monday-Thursday
  • $120 resident/$145 non-resident per week

Half-Day Unlicensed Specialty Clubs — Now Enrolling

Each week, children focus on a new theme and skill set, from legos to sports overload. Half-day sessions are Monday-Thursday, 12:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. An enrollment packet is not needed for these clubs.

Mini Police Camp June 13-16Now Enrolling!
Take part in this action packed police experience. Discover all the different aspects of police work. This day camp will have your heart pounding with live demos, building searches, SWAT and more!

  • Ages 9-12
  • 8 a.m.-noon
  • $20 resident/$25 non-resident

Police Camp Monday, July 31- Thursday, Aug. 3 — Now Enrolling!
This action-packed four-day, three-night camp lets teens ages 11-15 work with Commerce City Police Officers and get an up-close look at local law enforcement.

Camp graduation will be held Thursday at 4:30 p.m.

Please return participant packet and tubing waiver to the recreation center by July 18. Remember, you must register for police camp. Filling out the participant packet does not register you for the program.

Mandatory informational meeting Tuesday, July 18 at 6 p.m. (Civic Center/City Chambers - First Floor).
