zoning board of adjustment
Purpose: The Board is responsible for reviewing appeals from decisions of the Zoning Administration and Appeals to Zoning Code, and can grant Zoning variance and exceptions.
Number of Members: 5 regular, 3 alternates
One City Council ex-officio member and four non-members all appointed by the City Council.
Term: 3-year term
Regular and alternate members -- three years, with the terms staggered as provided by the City Charter; ex-officio member – term expires at each organizational meeting of City Council.
