ArtReach
Affordable entertainment with your friends! The ArtReach Program allows groups to receive free tickets to attend plays, concerts, theaters, opera houses, etc. Cost is only $3 for transportation! To sign up call 303.289.3720.
Blood Pressure Station
Measure blood pressure, heart rate and body weight using the free station located in the Senior Center. This is a private and accurate way for participants to track their own health progress. Staff assistance is available.
Goodfriends Scholarship Program
Partial assistance is available for older adults needing financial help to participate in Commerce City recreation programs and center membership. Confidential requests are made through staff at 303.289.3720.
Health Services
Provided by the Visiting Nurse Association
Receive basic health services from an onsite nurse on the second Wednesday of each month. Services are provided by appointment only and cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to appointment. Call ahead to learn what services are available. For information or to schedule an appointment call the Visiting Nurse Association at 303.698.6496.
Tax Assistance Program
FREE assistance available (January-April) with your income tax preparation for those who qualify. This is a first-come, first-serve program with no reservations accepted. Volunteers are provided by the Adams County Treasurer’s Office. Bring all necessary tax documents with you-copies are NOT provided. For more information please call 303.289.3720.
Transportation
Looking for A-Lift? Schedule medical and dental appointments or shop for groceries using A-Lift Transportation Services. This free service is available to residents age 60 or older, or who have a disability. Service days are Monday-Friday, 6 a.m.-6 p.m. Reservations require a three-day notice and can be made by calling the Senior Resource Center at 303.235.6972.
Volunteer Opportunities
