Public Comment

Presentations on:

  • Annual update from the Youth Commission
  • Affirming council direction on refreshing the city’s Strategic Plan

Noticed Council Business on:

  • Establishing annual Study Session with Adams 14 District Accountability Committees
  •  Proposal to assist residents of a manufactured home community with purchasing the property: Passed 9 - 0
  • Consent Agenda (21 items, including proclamations, budget amendments, contracts, and more)
    • A proclamation declaring the week of May 17 as Public Works Week, passed 7 - 1.
    • A proclamation declaring May 4 - May 9 as Small Business Week passed 8 - 0.  
    • An ordinance amending the 2026 city budget by re-appropriating various funding passed 8 - 0. 
    • An ordinance to vacate 2,915 feet of Buckley Road between E. 112th and E. 120th passed 8 - 0.
    • An ordinance requesting an amendment to the Zoning Map for 8025 Pontiac Street passed 9 - 0.
