Outdoor Storage

Outside storage of items such as construction material, tires, machinery, indoor furniture, fixtures, and appliances (even if covered) is not allowed.  These items should be kept in a garage or storage shed.

To help with the disposal of these prohibited items, the city offers a trash and recycling program for residents including events for free or very low cost. These events include Neighborhood Curbside Cleanup Days, Tower Landfill Days, Free Tire Recycling and many more. Learn more about the program and events at c3gov.com/Trash.

Free Green Yard Waste Drop-Off

Residents are invited to dispose of compostable yard waste (i.e. grass clippings, leaves, tree limbs and other plant debris) at this free event. Collected green waste goes to a composting facility instead of the landfill. Proof of residency required, no businesses or contractors allowed.

A1 Organics continues to operate under recommended COVID-19 guidance. They require social distancing while unloading yard waste and recommend proper protective equipment. They ask that cars stay at least 6 feet apart and visitors stay in your vehicle until your turn to unload.
