Graffiti Prevention/Removal

The Code Enforcement Division coordinates free graffiti removal within the city. Learn more. Report any graffiti you see, and keep your property well-lit and clean to discourage it.

Mosquito Program

You can help reduce mosquito populations in Commerce City’s neighborhoods by eliminating breeding habitat on your property. If you have large numbers of mosquitos in your neighborhood, call VDCI at 303-428-5908. Learn more at c3gov.com/mosquito.

Neighborhood Curbside Cleanup Days

Once a year, residents can place up to five large items at the curb for pickup for free. The city's residential neighborhoods are divided into five areas, with each being serviced on one of five Saturdays between March and August. Learn more.

CDBG Home Repair Programs

pic_CDBG_Building_Better_Neighborhoods_logoLow- to moderate-income (LMI) Commerce City homeowners may be eligible for one or more Home Repair Programs (HRPs), as part of the city’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.

In total, there are two HRPs available for LMI residents, paid for by CDBG funding:

  • Minor Home Repair Program (MHRP) – minor home repairs (not to exceed $10,000 per household)
  • Paint-a-Thon Program (PAT) – exterior painting for seniors and disabled homeowners
