Establishment

The Board of Building Code Appeals was established by Ordinance 2238.

Mission

The purpose of the Board of Building Code Appeals is to hear appeals of the decisions made by the city’s chief building official through plan reviews, inspections, code modifications and notices of violation.

Meetings

The Board of Appeals meets on an as-needed basis to hear appeals but will also have one yearly training. The location of an appeal hearing will be indicated on the agenda and published on the commerce.legistar.com website.
